Six in the third place means: If a man carries a burden on his back And nonetheless rides in a carriage, He thereby encourages robbers to draw near. Perseverance leads to humiliation.
第四爻
九四 解而拇。朋至斯孚。
Nine in the fourth place means: Deliver yourself from your great toe. Then the companion comes, And him you can trust.

三火高明，雨滅其光。高位疾顛，驕恣誅傷。
Three fires blaze bright; rain extinguishes their light. Those in high places fall swiftly; the arrogant and reckless are punished and harmed.

注释
雷雨作，解之象也。三火高明——三股火焰光耀沖天，烈焰熊熊不可一世。然雨滅其光——驟雨一至，烈焰頓熄。高位疾顛——居高位者急速傾覆。驕恣誅傷——驕橫放縱者終遭誅戮。三火或喻三方勢力、三位權貴，其盛極而招天忌，過明反致暗。從解至謙，地中有山：山藏於地而不顯其高。解脫後若恃勢驕縱，反速取滅亡。火不耐雨如高位不耐驕——裒多益寡，天之道也。
