注释
地中生木，升之象。牽羭上樓，與福俱居——牽羊上樓，與福祿同處一堂。勞躬治國，安樂無憂——躬親勞於國政，天下安樂而無憂患。羊上高樓，喻祭祀之豐饒與奉獻送至高處以求最大福祉。山上有水為蹇（君子以反身修德），路途艱險而須反躬自省之象。從升至蹇，上升遇阻而以加倍之努力回應——非退縮而是奮進。躬親治國之君將障礙化為安穩之基石，升之道不在避難，而在迎難而治。勞身以安天下，正合升之精神。
