山上有水，蹇之象。黃帝出遊，駕龍乘馬——始祖帝王巡行天下。東上泰山——東登五嶽之首。南過齊魯——南行經過齊魯之地。郡國咸喜——所過之處皆歡悅。此詩取上古帝王巡狩之神話原型：天子之蒞臨聖化山河、更新天人之約。從蹇至升，地中生木，積小以高大。黃帝之巡行即升卦之可見形式：主宰之力由東山漸升，過南方平原，沿途凝聚臣服、布施秩序，步步向高。
