地中生木，升之象。天所佑助，萬國日有——天之佑護降臨，萬國日日興盛增益。福至禍去，壽命長久——福祉來臨而禍患遠離，壽命綿長而康泰。此為宇宙之純然祝福：天佑、普興、化禍為福、延年益壽。山上有雷為小過（君子以行過乎恭、喪過乎哀、用過乎儉），稍過於恭敬謙遜之象。從升至小過，上升之勢以謙遜溫和加以調節——天之佑助恰恰降臨於行事稍過於謙、稍過於儉者。非過於志而過於德，方能感召天助。升之道以謙為本，以過謙為得天之眷。
