注释

澤無水,困之象也。用彼嘉賓——任用賢能之士;政平且均——政教公平均等;螟蟲不作——蟲害不興;民得安寧——百姓安居。「嘉賓」可解為呼應《詩經·鹿鳴》:「我有嘉賓,鼓瑟吹笙。」君臣以禮相待,政令由此而通。用賢則政和,政和則天時順,天時順則蟲害不生。從困至臨(澤上有地),君子教思無窮、容保民無疆。困境之解在於領導者親近民眾,以賢才之力化枯竭為潤澤。
