上六 君子豹變。小人革面。征凶。居貞吉。
Six at the top means: The superior man changes like a panther. The inferior man molts in the face. Starting brings misfortune. To remain persevering brings good fortune.

注释
澤中有火，革之象也。亥午相錯，敗亂緒業，民不得作，百事荒廢。山下有火，賁之象也。地支亥（水）與午（火）相沖相剋，時序錯亂，致祖輩基業敗壞，百姓無法正常勞作。賁卦本以文飾為要，然此處基本節律已亂——如日曆錯誤，耕種失時，萬事乖戾。從革至賁，變革若僅求表面之華美而忽略內在之協調，則亥午相沖，水火不容，根基紊亂而文飾徒然，民生反受其害。
