澤中有火，革之象也。無足斷跟，居處不安。凶惡為殘。山上有澤，咸之象也。咸卦以感應為本，上下相通，然此處足已斷、跟已截，下體盡毀。無足則不能立、不能行、不能接地。居處不安，凶惡肆虐。從革至咸，變革本當促成上下之感通，然暴力若斷絕基層與上位之聯繫，則咸之感應無從建立。足為身之根基，根基毀則全身不安——殘酷之革命適得其反。
