注释
澤中有火，革之象也。原詩云：「無足斷跟，居處不安。凶惡為殘。」山上有水，蹇之象也。此與四九之三一同辭，重複強調其嚴酷：無足斷跟，行動全廢，居無安處。蹇卦本諭「反身修德」，然此處殘酷至極，連反身之力亦失。山上覆水，險阻重重，加以肢體殘毀，何以自修？從革至蹇，變革之暴烈若至此境——不僅受阻，更是永久之傷殘——則修德之前，先需止血。
