注释
洊雷震動，風雷為益。災蟲為賊，害我稼穡——害蟲如盜匪般蠶食莊稼，禾苗盡毀。盡禾殫麥，秋無所得——禾與麥全被啃噬殆盡，至秋收時節顆粒無存。此詩寫蟲災毀農之慘狀，觸目驚心。風雷益之象本為「見善則遷，有過則改」，然此處增長者非德行而是蟲害——繁殖者為害蟲而非智慧，益之力量被反轉為禍。從震至益，不受節制之增殖若無道德導向，只產出荒蕪廢墟。秋至而兩手空空——增長之最殘酷的反面。
