In spring buy seeds, in autumn harvest gold. Buy low in the eastern market, sell in the western. Riding the wind with raised sail, knowing when to advance and retreat — ten years of common cloth exchanged for purple robes.

注释
山上有木為漸，山下有風為蠱。原詩曰「隨時逐便，不失利門。多獲得福，富於封君。」此乃善觀時勢之商人：低買高賣，順風揚帆，知進退而不失利機。從漸至蠱（振民育德），漸進之功在此化為整頓衰敗之術。蠱卦山下有風，風在山內醞釀變化。善賈者於衰敗中見機會，以漸進之準確拿捏時機，化腐朽為神奇。十年布衣換紫裾，正是漸功在蠱局中之最佳寫照。
