山上有火，旅人卑微請求——請冀之左耳（或指微薄之穀物），嗇者勿驅我，使我得與父母同在。此為旅人處境之最基本交涉：非求榮華富貴，但求容身之所；非求盛宴，但求一把糧食；非求衣錦還鄉，但求不被驅離家人身邊。從旅至未濟（火在水上），火懸於水上而不相交——萬事未成。未濟為《易經》最末一卦，一切懸而未決。旅人之請是否得允，我們不得而知。旅途如此循環，實無真正之終結。
