注释
隨風巽，化為天下有山之遯。三雞啄粟，十雛從食——三母雞啄食穀粒，十隻小雛跟隨覓食。飢鳶卒擊，亡其兩叔——飢餓之鳶鷹突然撲擊，失去兩隻。農家安寧之景瞬間逆轉：母雞帶雛覓食，鷹隼自天而降，攫走雛鳥。從巽至遯（天下有山，君子以遠小人不惡而嚴），遯為見危當退之時。雞群之失在於未及時退避——鷹影初現即當收斂。君子遠小人，非以敵意，乃以適時之退。猛禽盤旋之際仍貪食不去者，終將失其所不能護者。
