Nine at the top means: Penetration under the bed. He loses his property and his ax. Perseverance brings misfortune.

Whirlpool rising to the waist — crying for help urgently. A bamboo pole extends, just an arm's length away. Pulled onto the bank, clothes soaked through — looking back at the rapids, the heart is still cold.

注释
隨風巽，化為雷雨作之解。原詩云：「褰衣涉河，水深漬罷。賴幸舟子，濟脫無他。」褰衣渡河，水深力竭——提起衣裳涉水而行，水深流急，精疲力盡幾近溺亡。賴幸舟子——幸有船夫及時出現。濟脫無他——安然渡過，別無他害。從瀕死到獲救只在一息之間——行者低估了水勢，洪流將其吞沒，而船夫的及時相助挽回了性命。從巽至解（雷雨作解，君子以赦過宥罪），雷雨齊至而危機化解。船夫正是解之機制的化身：解脫非來自自身，而是在危難之巔由他人施以援手。
