天與水違行，訟之象。日暮而望東方，不見所念之家。長女無夫，左手搔首，孤寂無聊。詩中意象皆向背而行——日落時反望東方，光已在身後。從訟至坤，天之剛健消散為地之虛空。坤為純陰，厚德載物，然須有所承受方能生養。無偶可配，長女空待；暮色東望，唯見漸深之暗。訟之對立至此已非衝突，而是化為虛無本身——不復有爭，亦不復有應。
