注释
地勢坤，厚德載物。天之德室，溫仁受福——天道之居所溫厚仁愛，居其中者受福。衣裳所在，凶惡不起——禮儀衣冠所及之處，凶暴不生。從坤至訟（天與水違行），天水相違本為爭訟之象，然此詩不寫訟而寫防訟之道。坤之順德化為柔化爭端之力量：以溫仁居之，以衣冠正之，則爭訟之因消弭於無形。非待訟起而後斷，乃以德化人使訟不起。坤之厚德正是訟卦「作事謀始」之根基。
