天與水違行,訟。然黃帝建元——始祖黃帝創定曆法,文德在身。祿若陽春——恩澤如春日普照;封為魯君——受封於魯。黃帝定曆為文明之根本——以節律約束混沌。封魯喻周公封國,魯為周禮之守護者。從訟至革,澤中有火,君子以治曆明時。革為正當之變革——以合法之重整達成轉化。詩與之相合:聖王確立時間之真正度量,一切失序皆歸於新秩序。
