澤上有水，節以時度調萬物。春多膏澤，夏潤優渥——風調雨順，稼穡成熟，畝獲百斛。此為農事之至福：節候有序，水量適中，大地以豐收作答。從節至師（地中有水），有節制之灌溉化為國家動員之根基。地中藏水，資源蓄於地下以養眾生。良田即軍糧之倉，豐年即強國之本。節之制數度，此處化為師之容民畜眾——量度得宜則倉廩實，倉廩實則可養兵蓄銳。善節者善蓄，善蓄者善用。
