上六 弗遇過之。飛鳥離之。凶。是謂災眚。
Six at the top means: He passes him by, not meeting him. The flying bird leaves him. Misfortune. This means bad luck and injury.

The celestial Weaving Maid sits at her loom but produces no pattern; the Southern Winnow has no tongue; rice is full of sand and chaff; empty images steal their names; the paired birds break their necks.

山上有雷，小過之虛。天女踞床，不成文章——織女星空坐繡床卻不織布，有名無實。南箕无舌——南方箕宿本為簸箕之象，然無舌則不能揚糠去秕。飯多砂糠——名不副實之結果，米中盡是砂礫糠粃。虛象盜名——空洞之表象竊取真實之名號。雌雄折頸——假名配對者彼此毀滅。從小過至比（地上有水），雷化為水覆大地之親比。然此處之結合建立在虛假資歷上，名實不符，終致崩潰。
