地中有水，師之象。鴻飛在陸，公出不復——鴻雁落於旱地，公侯出行而不復返。「鴻漸于陸」呼應《易經》漸卦上九——雁離水而處險地。仲氏任止，伯氏客宿——仲留居安頓，伯兄遠客異鄉。兄弟命運不均：一人紮根，一人永遠流亡。從師至震（洊雷），雷聲連震，驚天動地。突然之震盪拆散本應相守之人——軍伍之凝聚碎為個人之命運，兄弟各承此變局之不同衝擊。
