Six at the top means: The great prince issues commands, Founds states, vests families with fiefs. Inferior people should not be employed.

地中有水，師之象。惡來呼伯——惡來召喚同伴。惡來為嬴姓，蜚廉之子，以勇力事殷紂王，為秦之遠祖。慎驚外客——謹慎警惕外來之客。甲守閉宅，以備凶急——披甲守門，緊閉宅院，防備突發之兇險。然臨折之憂，將滅無災——將要折斷之危已消，災禍不至。從師至渙（風行水上），風行水上，渙散聚集之物。防禦動員終歸多餘——威脅自行消散。最佳之軍事結果有時是未曾發生之戰。
