Dikes and dams block and bar; water cannot flow. The fire of blazing sunlight; yin and rainbow hide away, retreating to their source.

地上有水，比也。壅遏隄防，水不得行——築壩修堤，壅阻水勢使不得向前奔流。火盛陽光，陰蜺伏藏，退還其鄉——陽火熾烈，陰蜺退散歸隱。陰蜺在漢代宇宙觀中為不祥之兆，主女禍或陰邪之氣侵凌。詩以元素之控制為主旨：先壅水以蓄，後驅陰以正。從比至大畜（天在山中），山蓄天之力——聯盟之能量非散漫流失，而以紀律之壩嚴加蓄積。暗勢消退，明力凝聚，待時而發。
