彭祖九子，據德不殆。南山松柏，長受嘉福。彭祖壽八百歲，此處非孤隱之仙，乃子孫繁衍之宗父，以德澤綿延後世。乾至蠱，山下有風，蠱之象也。君子以振民育德。蠱為腐敗待治之卦，然此詩反其意：彭祖之恆德使蠱不能侵。南山松柏四季常青，不因風蝕而朽。天之創造力若植根於持守之德，則蠱卦之敗壞亦化為常新。據德不殆，正合「振民育德」之旨，以長久之修持抵禦歲月之侵蝕。
