上天下澤，日出溫谷，臨照萬國。高明淑仁，虞夏配德。太陽自東方暘谷升起，光照天下無所不及——仁政之至象。虞舜與夏禹之德與日光之暖相配，聖王之治如旭日普照。從履至困，澤無水：理想之光被剝奪，反差驚人。詩以日照之盛世為標竿，正因其後為困窘之暗。致命遂志，縱在困極之中，此等光輝之記憶仍可維繫希望。
