天與火同人，此詩寫兩位傳奇商人以智生財。陶朱即范蠡功成身退後之商名，白珪即洛陽白圭，「治生之祖」。二者善賈息資，人棄我取、人取我與。范蠡三致千金而三散之，德施上人——以德行惠及眾人。從同人至大畜（天在山中），流通之物化為積蓄。大畜多識前言往行以畜其德——此二商人所畜者非僅財貨，而是將財富循環為德行，積累之物比金帛更為恆久。
