雷出地奮，然螟蟲為賊，啃噬稼穡。禾殫麥盡，秋無所得——農夫辛勞一季，蟲害盡毀。螟蟲內蛀而不可見，待覺時已禾麥俱空。從豫至謙（地中有山），振奮之果被剝蝕殆盡，唯餘地面。謙之象為山隱地中，大而不顯。蟲害去其外在之豐華，恰如謙德之理：真正之實質在地表之下，非蟲所能及。豫之張揚遭遇天災而歸於謙抑，外在盡失方知內在之貴。
