Tang and Yu assisted each other; birds and beasts danced with joy. Peaceful and without incident, the state grew rich.

注释
澤中有雷，萬物隨順而行。唐虞相輔——堯與舜共治天下，鳥獸歡舞，太平之象也。安樂無事，國家富有。此詩援引聖王之治，堯舜禪讓共政為中國理想政治之原型：君臣以德相合，則富庶自生。從隨至坤（地勢坤），隨之順從化為大地厚德載物之量——民自然而從，地不耕自沃，此即無為而治之至境。
