注释
地勢坤，厚德載物。舉被覆目，不見日月——以被覆面，不復見天日。衣裳簠簋，就長夜室——衣裳祭器齊備，入於永夜之室。此為殯葬之景：亡者覆面，陪葬之衣冠禮器已設，入土長眠。澤中有雷，隨之象：君子以嚮晦入宴息。日暮而安歇，此為隨之常道。然此詩將宴息推至極致——所隨者非暫時之休憩，而是永久之長眠。從坤至隨，大地既承載生者亦收納亡者。隨順天時，白晝隨夜，生命隨死，坤土終為萬物之歸處。
