澤上有地，臨之養育。飛蜎蠕動——飛蟲蠕蟲，各有配偶——皆得其伴侶。小大相保——大小互相庇護；咸得其所——萬物各安其位。此詩頌自然秩序之至和：即便最微末之蟲蟻亦參與天地之配對，無物微小到不配擁有伴侶與相互扶持。從臨至豫（雷出地奮），長者之審慎化為自發之歡慶。雷出地上乃天地自身之樂章——祖先之頌歌迴盪於萬物之中。當每一生靈都得其所配，天下本身即成慶典。
