注释
澤上有地，臨之殆危。履危不止——踏入危險卻不停步；與鬼相視——與鬼魅對面而視。驚恐失氣——驚懼至喪失元氣；如騎虎尾——猶如騎坐虎尾之上。詩層層疊加險境：涉險不已、直面幽靈、元氣為恐懼所耗。虎尾之象反轉了履卦（卦十）之保證——彼處虎不咥人，此處騎者已嚇得呆若木雞。從臨至困（澤無水），湖澤之慷慨已枯竭。沼中無水則人陷其中：資源用盡、勇氣耗竭，面對無法抗衡之恐懼——因已無可戰之資。
