千歲廟堂，棟橈傾僵；天厭周德，失其寵光。
The temple of a thousand years, its ridgepole bends and collapses; heaven grows weary of Zhou virtue -- it loses its favored brilliance.

注释
澤上有地，臨之承載。千歲廟堂——千年之宗廟朝堂；棟橈傾僵——棟梁撓曲、殿宇傾倒。天厭周德——上天厭棄周之德行；失其寵光——失去天眷之光輝。棟橈即《易經》大過卦之「棟橈」——棟梁不勝重荷而撓曲。詩以結構崩壞喻周室衰微：千年天命終於耗盡。從臨至鼎（木上有火），本應精煉轉化之器皿反因年久而不堪負荷。當天道撤回其背書，即便最神聖之制度亦歸崩塌。鼎之火無法烹煮器已無法盛載之物。
