風行地上，觀列國爭霸之大局。前482年黃池之盟，吳王夫差與晉定公爭盟主之位，兵鋒相向。然南方之勾踐臥薪嘗膽多年，乘吳國空虛而揮師北上，襲其本土。逐鹿於外者，喪家於內。天地交，泰之象：天地相交方為太平。從觀至泰，深意在此：真正的安泰不在遠方爭霸，而在看顧自身根基。夫差之敗，正因觀而不察己。
