九五 觀我生。君子无咎。
Nine in the fifth place means: Contemplation of my life. The superior man is without blame.

風行地上，觀道家修煉之境界。茹靈芝，餌黃精，飲玉英之液，與神明流通無礙，長無憂凶。詩寫漢代方士求仙之傳統：靈芝、黃精、玉英皆為超越凡俗之本草靈藥，服之可通神明。雷電噬嗑之象，以明罰去障為旨。從觀至噬嗑，精神之養清通人神之間的壅塞：滋養化為疏通，障礙一經咬破，修行者遂得與靈界無間交流。
