電雷噬嗑，明罰之卦。齊侯少子才略美好——齊侯幼子才貌俱佳。求我長女，賤薄不與——求娶長女而以其出身卑薄拒之。反得醜陋，後乃大悔——反嫁醜陋之人，終至大悔。此為錯判求婚者價值之悲劇：才德之人被傲慢拒絕，留下者僅有劣選與悔恨。從噬嗑至夬（澤上於天），夬為決斷，真相必須直言。此處之決斷何其苦澀：自家之傲慢方是真正障礙。
