注释
山下有火，賁照枯木。老楊日衰——老楊樹日漸衰敗。條多枯枝——枝條多已枯乾。爵級不進——官階停滯不前。逐下摧隤——被逐漸擠下，摧折崩頹。楊之枯衰與仕途停滯互映——曾經生機勃勃，今乾枯不可復。從賁至臨，澤上有地：大地臨澤而下覆，有居高臨下之勢。然此詩無晉升之兆：所臨者乃衰敗之近。文飾遇臨而無實以支撐，非升反降，枯萎之態暴露無遺。
