山下有火，賁試讒言之力。讒人所言，語不成全——讒者之言殘缺不全，無法自圓。虎狼之患，不為我殘——雖有虎狼之險，終不能害我。此詩肯定抗讒之韌性：讒言有結構之缺陷，掠食之威雖實而不中。從賁至漸，山上有木：山之火化為山上之木漸長。漸為循序漸進之有機生長——鴻雁一步步前行。面對讒言與侵害之急促暴力，漸以穩步累進超越攻擊者。讒者殘缺之辭趕不上自然生長之物。
