山附於地為剝，天地交為泰。日出阜東而山蔽其明——光明已現卻為山所遮。章甫薦屨——以禮冠墊鞋底，貴賤倒置之極。箕子佯狂——殷紂之叔父佯裝瘋癲以避禍。二象並列：一為物之顛倒，一為人之偽裝，皆寫世道傾覆、賢者不得不自晦。從剝至泰，表面矛盾實蘊深理：泰之天地交通，恰需經歷「章甫薦屨」之倒置方能實現。天降地升，尊者忍辱，正是否極泰來之必經。箕子佯狂而存身，待時而動，此即「用晦而明」之智。
