佩玉纍蕊，無以繫之。孤悲獨處，愁哀相憂。
Jade pendants and clustered tassels, with nothing to bind them. Alone in grief and solitude; sorrow and anguish shared with none.

注释
山附於地為剝，洊雷為震。佩玉纍蕊——玉佩如花蕾般纍纍垂掛。無以繫之——卻無繩可以串繫。孤悲獨處，愁哀相憂——孤獨悲戚，獨自居處，愁與哀交相煎熬。玉之美重而繩已斷，飾物雖在而無以附身。此為最切身之結構喪失：有寶而不能佩，有美而不能用。從剝至震，山之崩塌震落原本穩固之物。雷重疊而至，珍物四散。「恐懼修省」為震之教，然此詩中恐懼已凝結為孤寂之哀。玉失其繫，人失其依，此即剝入震之深意。
