雷在地中，然地上虎狼橫行。虎狼並處，不可以仕——群獸環伺之朝廷，不可出仕。忠謀轉政，禍必及己——忠心進言反引禍上身。退隱深山，身乃不殆——唯遁入山林方保平安。此為中國隱逸傳統之要義：朝廷若獸穴，退避非怯懦，乃明哲保身。從復至謙，地中有山，高者自卑。此變印證退隱之道：濁世之中，真正的復歸是沉入謙卑，讓山隱於大地之下。裒多益寡，稱物平施——在險境中守拙，方為處世之智。
