雷在地中，天厭禹德——天厭夏後氏之德衰。命興湯國——天命轉移，興起商湯之國。祓社釁鼓——祓除社壇，以血釁鼓。以除民疾——蕩滌民間之疾苦。此詩壓縮中國上古最偉大之王朝革命：禹之後裔失道，商湯推翻暴桀，以禮制開新朝。從復至革，澤中有火，相異之力催化變革。此變具範式意義：復與革共享一個脈動——舊命竭盡，新命點燃。看似翻天覆地者，乃天道使世界復歸正軌之方式。治曆明時，以革復正。
