注释
天下雷行之勢隱沒，天地沉入隆冬之闇。鬱怏不明，陰積無光，一片沉悶。日在北陸——冬至時太陽行於最北之軌跡——萬物彫藏，草木凋零。此乃自然最收斂之時。從無妄至蒙（山下出泉），變化循自然之理：天之雷氣退藏於密雲之後，山下之泉尚隱而未顯。蒙之昏暗非惡意，乃未受教化之蒙昧，如嚴冬之深沉等待第一縷啟蒙之光破曉而出。
