Treading mud, walking in peril; action brings no advantage. Sit at ease with robes hanging; thus avoid calamity. The gate opens of itself; the lord worries it will not prosper.

注释
澤滅木，大過之象。涉塗履危，不利有為——泥濘險途，妄動則敗。安坐垂裳，乃無災殃——靜坐不動，衣裳自垂，反得無患。然門戶自開，君憂不昌——門自開為不祥之兆，非人力所致之變故令君主憂懼。從大過至屯（雲雷，屯），過重之勢遇初生之難。屯者萬物始生之際，雲雷交作，混沌未明。此時唯「安坐垂裳」方為上策：不涉險、不妄為，以靜待動，讓雷聲指引前路。門自啟者非吉兆，示有不可控之力量正在運作。
