周城之降，越裳夷通。疾病多祟，鬼哭其公，鳥子野心，宿客不同。
The walls of Zhou fall; the distant Yuechang barbarians come through. Illness brings many hauntings; ghosts weep for their lord. The bird's offspring have a wild heart; the lodged guest does not belong.

注释
山上有澤，感通之象。周城之降——周室城邑陷落。越裳夷通——越裳氏來貢。據傳周成王時越裳氏自南方獻白雉，以表對周德之敬服。然後轉折：疾病多祟——疫病加鬼祟纏身。鬼哭其公——鬼魂為君而哭。鳥子野心——雛鳥懷不馴之志。宿客不同——寄居者心思各異。從咸至晉（明出地上），感應化為進步之象。晉之道為自昭明德——光明自地而出。遠邦來朝與內患暗生並存：德光雖遠照，近處之陰暗亦隨光而現。
