The timid one travels as merchant; crossing far mountains and barriers. Trading with fellow travelers at market; neither peril nor danger. Profit gained tenfold.

注释
山上有澤，感通之道。情懦之商不得已而遠行，涉山越阻，與旅途中人為市。不危不殆，竟獲十倍之利。「情懦」二字為關鍵——非勇者之冒進，乃怯者之謹慎，而謹慎反成護身之道。從咸至訟（天與水違行），本為相爭之象。然此詩反其意：正因商人不爭不鬥，以柔弱之姿入險途，反能於對立之勢中左右逢源。咸之虛受化為處世之智——不與人爭而自得其利，懦非弱也，乃順勢而行之謀。
