雷風恆，持續經營之象。效耕釋秬——模仿耕作而播下黑黍。有所疑止——中途猶疑而輟手不前。空虛無子——終無收穫，一無所得，如無後嗣之空虛。恆者當持之以恆，然此詩示半途而廢之害：耕而不種，種而不收，徒有其形而無其實。從恆至蒙（山下出泉），恆之定力化為蒙之迷惘。泉出山下而不知所往，如猶疑之農夫，手持種子而終不肯下地，恆而不果，空留荒蕪。
