注释
山下出泉，蒙之象也。至德之君，仁政且溫。伊呂股肱，國富民安。伊尹佐湯建商，呂尚（太公望）佐武王立周，二人為賢臣輔君之千古典範。從蒙至遯，天下有山：遯者，遠小人而不惡。何以理想之治反通向退隱？蓋至德之君建制已成，深知功成當退。天在山上，不與卑下者爭；君子之退非示弱，乃以退為守，使德治自行。蒙昧者見此方悟：最高之治在於治者隱而不見，制度自運。
