山下出泉，蒙之象也。有莘季女為夏妃后——有莘氏幼女嫁為夏后之妃，或即夏禹之母脩己，或指商湯之妃（有莘氏嫁女於湯，伊尹為媵臣）。貴夫壽子，母字四海——得貴夫、育長壽之子，母儀天下。從蒙至晉，明出地上：晉為光明自地面升起之象，昔日蒙昧之幼女今成天下之母。偏遠小族之女，其德本隱而不彰，如日未出地之時。一旦進入歷史，即如朝陽破曉，「自昭明德」。
