注释
山下出泉，蒙之象也。早凋被霜——未到時令而遭霜打，過早凋零。花葉不長——花與葉不得生長。非時為災，家受其殃——時序錯亂即為天災，殃及全家。此寫「非時」之殘酷：春霜殺苗，過早之嚴寒毀滅生機。從蒙至中孚，澤上有風：中孚者，議獄緩死——內心之誠須與時序相合。中孚之「信」要求審慎，不可躁行。非時之霜即是天地失信之象：當宇宙之真誠被扭曲，無辜者在未成熟前便已受難。蒙昧者當知：誠信首在守時。
