Nine at the top means: He brings increase to no one. Indeed, someone even strikes him. He does not keep his heart constantly steady. Misfortune.

注释
風雷益，變為蹇（山上有水）。丑戌亥子，飢饉前生——四支皆屬寒暗之月，饑荒已先至。陰陽暴客，水絕我食——陰陽失調如暴客侵入，洪水斷絕食物來源。丑戌亥子對應深冬，儲糧將盡而自然無所供給。「暴客」之喻示天候反常或宇宙失序。從益至蹇，山上有水，水不能下流滋潤田畝。每一條路都被堵死，增益之力未能防饑，反以洪水之形完成毀滅。
