The king is fitting, the grandson rejoices; fame is displayed, blessings multiply. The dragon's son walks in virtue; journeying west, he attains great longevity.

地中生木，升之象。王宜孫喜，張名益有——王者之孫歡喜吉慶，名聲遠揚，福祿日增。龍子善行，西方得壽——龍子可解為貴胄之後，以德行遠而於西方獲長壽之福。全詩語調祥和，祝福綿延：名立、業增、子孫昌盛。從升至屯（雲雷交作，君子以經綸），穩步上升遇初生之艱——雲雷激盪而雨未降。然詩意樂觀：縱有草創之難，世代積累之功終成持久之興盛，如木穿土而出，遇阻而不止其上升之勢。
