木上有水，井養群聚，環井之群各得其所。十羊俱見，黃頭為首——黃為土之色、中央正位之色，黃頭之羊居正位而統領群羊。歲美民安，國樂無咎——年景豐美，國泰民樂而無過失。此為小康之理想。從井至小過（山上有雷），小過之義在於微有逾常而不失其正。井之惠養在黃羊穩領下恰合小過之道：過於恭敬、過於儉約皆可，唯不可過於驕狂。
